01 Jul I AM TAKING ONE STEP AT A TIME
Dear BeYOUtiful One
🌷 When I first began writing this July newsletter, my heart was filled with sunshine, warm summer evenings, and the joy of embracing the season. I imagined writing about abundance, light, and all the beauty that summer brings.
Then, on June 20th, 2026 ~ life had other plans.
For the second time in less than two years, my basement flooded. Not only my basement, but hundreds of homes in my area, due to 150-170 mm of rain in a short time and our sewers could not handle it.
Within hours and days, my peaceful, cozy home became a construction zone. Furniture was damaged, treasured belongings were lost, walls came down, floors were removed, and once again I found myself letting go of things I never imagined I would have to release.
It would be easy to ask, “Why is this happening?” But over the years, my spiritual journey has taught me a different question:
“What is life inviting me to learn?”
I don’t believe every difficult event happens for a reason, but I do believe we always have the opportunity to discover meaning within it.
Sometimes life asks us to slow down.
Sometimes it asks us to trust when we cannot see the path ahead.
Sometimes it gently… or not so gently,,, encourages us to release what no longer serves us, even when we are not ready.
Healing isn’t about pretending everything is positive. It isn’t about ignoring sadness, frustration, or disappointment. True healing is allowing ourselves to feel what we feel while choosing not to let those experiences define who we become.
Every challenge carries within it the seed of wisdom, resilience, compassion, and growth.
As I continue this unexpected journey of rebuilding my basement, I am also rebuilding something within myself… deepening my faith, strengthening my resilience, and remembering that even after the storm, the sun always finds its way back through the clouds.
So if life has recently thrown you an unexpected challenge, know that you are not alone.
Be gentle with yourself.
Trust your inner wisdom.
Take one step at a time.
And remember that even in the midst of chaos, your spirit remains whole, strong, and filled with light.
🌻 May this summer bring not only sunshine around you… but also renewed hope, courage, and peace within you.

💖 HEARTWORK FOR JULY 2026 💖
Relax… Play… Receive… Manifest
July invites us to slow down, soak up the sunshine, and reconnect with the joy of being alive. The energy of summer reminds us that life is not meant to be all work and striving. Sometimes the most powerful manifestation happens when we relax, trust, and allow ourselves to enjoy the present moment.
I will definitely remember this as I take the next few months to restore the basement of my home.
This month, let’s focus on:
☀️ Relaxation – Give yourself permission to rest, breathe deeply, spend time in nature, and nourish your mind, body, and spirit.
🌸 Fun & Joy – Laugh more, play more, dance, explore, connect with friends, and do things that make your heart smile. Joy raises your vibration and opens the door to miracles.
🌈 Manifesting Your Dreams – Instead of forcing outcomes, become clear about your desires and trust the Universe to guide the way. Align your thoughts, emotions, and actions with the life you wish to create.
July Affirmation
💖 “I relax into the flow of life. I welcome joy, abundance, and endless possibilities. My heart is open, my spirit is free, and I trust that everything I desire is unfolding in perfect divine timing.”
