I AM WELCOMING CHANGE

Dear BeYOUtiful  One

I can’t believe that summer is almost over and we are going into the beautiful season of Autumn.  This is my favourite season with natures changing colors and the brisk cool weather.  Time waits for no one ~ so I remind myself each day to be present in the moment, enjoy and appreciate everything in my life, trust that I am guided and protected and of course to laugh and just breathe.
Everyday stresses and obstacles will always be there to test us but so is all the beauty, friendship and love that touches our lives in small or great ways.   At the same time, let’s enjoy the changes within us as we let go of the old energies of outmoded beliefs about ourselves and the limitations we set and let’s continue to create the new energies of peace, love, joy, and abundance that we so rightfully deserve.

The Autumn Equinox is a powerful turning point — a balance between light and dark, marking the transition into the inward season. Spiritually, it’s often seen as a threshold for empowerment, release, and renewal.
Here are steps to the path of empowerment aligned with the Autumn Equinox:

1. Pause and Reflect on Balance

  • The equinox represents equal day and night.

  • Ask yourself: Where in my life is there imbalance? Where can I bring more harmony between giving and receiving, action and rest, inner and outer worlds?

  • Empowerment begins with self-awareness.

2. Harvest Your Growth

  • Autumn is harvest time — a moment to recognize what you’ve cultivated this year.

  • Journal your achievements, lessons, and blessings.

  • Gratitude strengthens your power and grounds you in abundance, instead of lack.

3. Release What No Longer Serves You

  • Just as trees shed their leaves, release habits, fears, or relationships that weigh you down.

  • A simple ritual: write down what you are releasing and burn or bury the paper.

  • Letting go creates space for new empowerment to take root.

4. Reclaim Your Energy

  • Call back energy you may have given away through stress, old stories, or people-pleasing.

  • Try: “I call back all of my energy, cleansed and renewed, into my body, mind, and spirit.”

  • This empowers you to stand fully in your own strength.

5. Align with the Season

  • Eat seasonal foods (apples, squash, root vegetables).

  • Spend time in nature to feel the shift of energy in the Earth.

  • Dressing in autumn colors (gold, red, orange, brown) helps you embody the season’s grounding power.

6. Set Empowered Intentions

  • As the year winds down, set intentions for your inner growth.

  • Focus on qualities you want to embody: courage, resilience, wisdom, compassion.

  • Speak them aloud or create an altar with symbols of these intentions.

7. Embrace the Inward Journey

  • Autumn invites us inward, into stillness and intuition.

  • Meditation, journaling, or dream work during this season strengthens spiritual empowerment.

  • Trust your inner voice as your guide.
