I AM LOVING ALL THAT I AM

I AM LOVING ALL THAT I AM

IT’S ALL ABOUT LOVE !     True love, the love vibration begins with the love that we have for ourSelves.  Are you nurturing your physical, emotional and spiritual needs?  Can you look in the mirror and say “I love myself exactly as I am”.   When we love ourselves and accept ourselves with all our imperfections ~ then we can truly love another ~ whether it is family members, friends, co-workers or a romantic partner.

So the month of February, your homework is to nurture and pamper yourself.  You are Number One.  Take the time to do things that you love to do.     In your quiet time, put your hands on your heart and say loving affirmations to yourself.  When you are with people, smile ~ laugh ~ hug.   Surround yourself with beauty ~ the beauty of nature is everywhere.  Surround yourself with happy, positive people.  Skip, jump, dance, sing.  Play with your pets.  Play with your children.   Declare to the world – “I am happy to be alive and I love myself and my life exactly as it is”.  “I am grateful for all my blessings”.

The more you can stay in this high vibration of love and gratefulness – the more you will start seeing the changes in your life that you desire.

On Valentines Day and every day, I celebrate the light of God that burns brightly within my heart and allow this light, this love and this kindness to shine upon a world that is much in need.

“HEARTWORK FOR THE MONTH

SELF-LOVE AND NURTURING YOURSELF

Self-love is the practice of treating ourselves with kindness, respect, and compassion. It means recognizing our worth and prioritizing our own needs and desires.  It is about forgiving ourself, refraining from self-judgment, stop comparing yourself to others and trusting ourself.  This can also include setting healthy boundaries and prioritizing our own needs, while also not settling for less than you deserve. Self-nurturing is about taking care of ourselves physically, mentally, and emotionally. It means making time for activities that bring us joy, getting enough rest, and seeking support when needed.

Self-love and self-nurturing also helps us to embrace our strengths and weaknesses. When we love and nurture ourselves, we can celebrate our accomplishments and feel confident in our abilities. At the same time, we can acknowledge our flaws and mistakes without beating ourselves up.  It also helps us prioritize our well-being. This includes taking care of ourselves physically, mentally, and emotionally. We’re more likely to eat well, exercise, get enough sleep, and seek support when needed.  Remember that life is all about the journey… not the destination.  Every challenge and obstacle builds spiritual mastery.

Make time for self-care:
Whether it’s taking a long bath, going for a walk in nature, or simply reading a book, make time for activities that bring you joy and relaxation.

Practice self-compassion:
When you make a mistake or face a setback, treat yourself with kindness and understanding. Remember that everyone makes mistakes, and that it’s a part of the learning process.

Nurture your body:
Eat well, exercise regularly, and get enough sleep. Listen to your body and give it the care and attention it deserves.

Healthy Boundaries:
When we love and nurture ourselves, we’re better equipped to say “no” to things that don’t serve us or that may cause us harm. We’re also more likely to set boundaries in our relationships and protect ourselves from toxic people or situations. Surround yourself with people who uplift and support you.

Keep a Gratitude Journal:
A big part of self-love is staying in the present moment.  It is easy to get swept up in planning for the future or thin king about what you could have done differently in your life.  Maintaining a gratitude journal can keep you grounded by reminding yourself of your many blessings that you have right now,  A daily dose of gratitude can improve your mood and raise your vibration.

Practice Mindfullness:
Being mindful is a strategy to boost self-love, as it can help you identify what you feel, think and desire.  Mindfuless is about being fully present, non-judgemental, and aware of what is going on around you.
